| Contadora... |
Contadora Island (Isla Contadora, as it is known in Spanish) lies at the northern end of the Pearl Island Archipelago. Whereas the Caribbean islands are often drenched during rainy season, during our rainy season on Contadora it usually only rains for a few hours during the late afternoon or in the evening. The rest of the day is sunny and ideal for sun lovers. Contadora island is situated approximately 30 miles off the country's Pacific coast, making it a mere 20 minute flight or 90 minute ferry ride from Panama City. There are eleven beaches on the island. All have white sand and protected coves. The water is turquoise and teeming with tropical fish. Contadora's strategic location in the Pearl islands makes it the perfect base for adventure. Getting here... |
